Stirring Up History: Cornbeef & Cabbage

Did you ever wonder why cornbeef and cabbage is eaten to celebrate St.Patrick’s Day?

Come join historic cook, Diane Schwindt, in the Hallock Homestead kitchen for a unique cooking experience! Participants will not only learn the true history of how cornbeef and cabbage became synonymous with the holiday, but they will work in teams to create the meal itself using a cast iron wood burning stove and traditional recipes.

Members: $55  | Non-Members: $65
